Rob Grad

Rob Grad - singer, songwriter, painter and photographer, we discussed life after having a taste of fame, learning new skills, and getting past obstacles.  He had his first record deal with RCA Records fresh out of high school, as bass player and main songwriter for the band. He toured the country with Kik Tracee, playing shows with Bon Jovi, Joe Walsh and others.  After Kik he formed Superfine, an alternative rock band, in which he sang lead vocals and played guitar.  Superfine gained an international following when they were featured on Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show and soundtrack.  His first solo CD, “No Apologies,” he says reflects a time when he was forced to re-evaluate his life due to a personal crisis.

Jeri Estes

Watch live streaming video from coolchange at livestream.com
Jeri Estes writer/producer and author of a book based on her amazing real-life story as a teenage runaway in San Francisco's colorful Tenderloin district in 1965. It called STILETTOS AND STEEL.  This novel is filled with intrigue, violence, sex, and wisdom that break the mold in originality. I cannot compare this book to any other because there aren't any. The most amazing thing about Ms. Estes writing it's that it's slow and seductive until it grabs you by the throat and makes you look at life through a different perspective. Born and raised in Southern California, she was the former Assistant Director of the California Women's Commission, where she educated the public about issues such as fetal alcohol syndrome.  After leaving the non-profit sector, she was the successful owner of an insurance brokerage firm. Jeri is currently based in Studio City, CA.
