Cool in 30 Seconds!

Wishing a great Memorial Day for you and yours.

My pal Ken Sheetz of BuzzBroz.com gave me a Memorial Day surprise, he donated his time and talents to produce a 30 second commercial spot to use for promoting The Cool Change Foundation.

Ken nailed this one. Exactly what you'd expect from a director who has had a PBS special air as the lead into the Presidential debates. Cool.

DOROTHY DONAHUE, REIKI MASTER & TEACHER

I recently was honored to be part of Reiki master Dorothy Lee Donahue's class a few weekends ago. Reiki is an energy healing art discovered in Japan in the 19th century.

Well, turns I learned don't seem to possess the same gifts as the other Reiki students, who get such clear images or feelings. Guess I'll be sticking to being a talk show host. But Dorothy has told me to be patient and let my gifts reveal themselves. One fellow student told me I am a healing presence. In any case, I highly recommend Dorothy's class, at prices so low she is literally giving it at cost to help spread the healing. $200 for her June 5th and 6 th class that she has a few spots left for. An experience of a lifetime, great people in the class. Best $200 you might spend in a lifetime. Learn more HERE.

DR. DOUG IS COOL

Dorothy has been instrumental in bringing me some of our best guests and this week's show is no exception. Listen to our interview with healer "Dr. Doug Lehrer" HERE.

David shares stories from his early childhood and his amazing healing skills. An interview not be missed.

Allen Miller on The Quick Fix

Another grueling week keeping the charity and its radio show and hit YouTube station, The Quick Fix, rolling in The Great Recession. Tough times means tighter purse strings for charities.

But positive action always gets positive results so onward and upward, the economy just adds a challenge that will in the end propel us all further.

You can't keep a great country like America down!

And speaking of getting the word out, this week's guest is a genius for just that! Click here to listen to my interview with one of the country's top PR and social media gurus, Allen Miller, CEO of Hitman PR.

Allen was nicknamed Hitman by his clients, that include such greats as Dinah Shore and Farrah Fawcett, and the name stuck. Today Allen makes people a hit with his great PR and SMM work. I am so grateful Allen has been donating some free advice to yours truly that I know is going to mean bigger and better things for our charity.

NEW WORLD FAIR

Attendance was lighter than expected at the New World Fair, but we made the best of it using the slower pace to make connections for future shows with the great exhibitors on hand and we did some fine interviews that you'll be seeing soon.

But the highlight of the event for me was speaking to a receptive crowd as seen in this great photo by my brother for buzz Ken Sheetz of BuzzBroz.com

Busy Days!

Still catching up on a hectic schedule that saw me as a featured speaker at the Holistic Treatment Conference in Las Vegas two weeks ago.

I was impressed by how big Robert Wagener's baby has grown.

The conference took place at the fantastic Palms Casino and resort. I booked a suite on the 53rd floor and it proved to be an amazing setting for a great series of interviews directed and produced by my pal Ken Sheetz of BuzzBroz (who took the photo to the above).

And here's our interview with Julie Crocco of Treatment Solutions of South Florida.

And straight from the conference hall my interview with R. Scott Armbruster, founder of Sound Pillow, which has found amazing results with helping people battling addiction get that all important good night's sleep.

Still more interviews and a highlights from my speech to follow from Las Vegas and an interview with Foundations CEO Robert Wagener himself next blog!

Somewhere during my crazed schedule I even managed to squeeze learning Reiki healing with master trainer Dorothy Lee Donahue.

And speaking of amazing interviews and masters of their craft, take a listen to this week's great interview with Jean Mackie, one America's leading intervention experts.

Click here to listen to the entire interview!

Here is just a video taste of Jean's informative interview on intervention.

Holistic Treatment Conference Las Vegas

Wow, looks like we made it through another Foundations Recovery Network conference. We had a booth there and I had an opportunity to make a 90 min presentation "Changing the dynamic through which recovery is perceived, making self discovery (recovery) an ambition as opposed to the shame based stigma it is today."

It was exhausting, but we made it! We, BuzzBroz.com and I, were very fortunate to have filmed several exhibitors, Here's the first of the series from Vegas, our interview with Dr. Tom Horvath who can learn more about at Practicalrecovery.com.

I had to send a volunteer home after the first day, she wasn't being a team player and was taking our focus off the project at hand. I think I made the right call sending her home. Anyway, we got to meet some new people, see some old friends, and make some new Holistic Treatment contacts! Was awesome! If you attended the conference please send us your experience and if not but you've had experience with Holistic Treatment send us that too. We may interview you! Smile...
