Lydia Phillips Adoption Fraud
Lydia Phillips who over the past 4 years has been trying to adopt a baby girl but she has had three failed situations, two drug babies and the third lost to fraud. She decided that this she was going to make enough noise and create enough interest that the ‘right’ people would sit up and notice. She set out to implement a law at the Federal level that would mandate ‘random’ drug & alcohol screening of all birth moms on State Aid that come into a doctor’s office during their pregnancy and create laws to protect adoption families from fraud. Lydia has been a guest on several talk shows and Keynote Speaker at several organizations including Woman in Business conferences. She won Woman of the Year in Business in 2007. She's the creator of Lydia Loungewear, a funky loungewear collection for women and children. Her clothes made fans of several celebrities including Ellen, Oprah, Sara Jessica Parker, Tara Banks and Kid Rock. She has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines and featured in Entrepreneur Magazine and on several TV shows including Medium, Americas Next Top Model, S e x in the City, MTV New Years Eve bash, and Top Buys for Christmas. |
